I won't be here this year during CMJ, but there should a few good shows as always. One you should not miss, of course, is the ASCAP showcase at the Canal Room on wednesday october 17th, featuring Die Romantik at 11:30pm.

And you definitely do not want to miss Die Romantik's very first show at Bowery Ballroom on thursday november 15th, opening for canadian band Malajube. It's so exciting to finally have them play at one of the best venues in the city, i can't wait! Tickets are onsale now.

You remember Mobius Band? I've blogged about them here a few times, and i've spun a couple of of their songs at parties as well in the past. They have a new album coming out today called Heaven and so far, the two tracks i've heard sound pretty cool:
