what's a girl to do
This is possibly the longest i've gone without updating... to say that i'm unbelievably busy is a major understatement, and it's only going to get more hectic until the big day. That said, i'm sure i'll get to post more frequently than i have.
When Adam and i were in Paris this past july, we made a short film together inspired by the song Jacqueline by local band Die Romantik. It was just the two of us walking through the streets of Paris. We had such a great time making the short, you can watch it here.
I've been very much into english band Bat For Lashes lately. I love the video for What's a girl to do. And overall, the album Fur and gold is right up my alley. The first time i heard Natasha Khan's enchanting voice, i immediately thought of the late 90's english band Black Box Recorder, who i used to love. Especially the song Child Psychology off of their first album England made me. And then when i saw Natasha's beautiful face, she immediately reminded me of our own Justine D! Highly recommended all around.
