et moi, et moi, et moi

I've been so very busy with work and djing, and trying to plan a wedding. I can't even think of what i've been listening to lately. One thing i do remember i did this past week is get a new camera. After being digital camera-less for well over a year, i decided that it was time to graduate to a nice digital SLR that will give me the chance to take great shots under almost any light. Expect photos again on here soon, exciting, no? Until i have something more interesting to talk about, i'll just offer you some shameless self-promotion...

TONIGHT:
I spin my bi-weekly set at Lotus downstairs with Michael T. We love it down there, it's hidden from the musically clueless crowd, while the rest of us always have a great time. Tonight, we're hosting the after-party for Under The Influence of Giants (playing Knitting Factory). If you say "melody nelson" at the door, you get in for free. Lotus is at 409 west 14th St. (between 9th & 10th Ave.s).

TOMORROW:
You'll find me downstairs at The Annex for my monthly DJ residency at TISWAS 2.0. Another great party to spend your saturday night. Tomorrow, the promoters are holding a Lily Allen look-alike contest, so if you're into puffy dresses paired with trainers, you should go for it! The Annex is at 152 Orchard St. between Stanton and Rivington. St.

ALSO:
It's been almost a year since i made my debut singing Serge Gainsbourg cover songs on stage with Die Romanitk, and we decided it was time to have some fun again! I will be joining the band at Union Hall on saturday march 3rd. Notice the awesome theme and lineup for the night. I'll also be spinning french pop.
