control
The bitter cold in new york has frozen my brain and made me forget to post for days.
I was reading the latest issue of Mojo, and realized that the Ian Curtis biopic Control directed by Anton Corbjin will be out sometime soon. Apparently the remaining members of the band have seen a cut and are 100% behind the film, which is good to know. I read the book that inspired the movie a while ago, and though i can see that the story is really Deborah's rather than an objective account of Ian's life, i really liked it. I can't wait to see the film myself, not only because i am interested in the subject matter, but also because i am a big fan Corbjin's work and can't wait to see how that's going to translate on a feature film.
Tomorrow, LE ONE NIGHT STAND is back at new venue LOVE for a night of international pop, free drinks and more. Keep reading for all the details and special guest DJs.
