There's a vodka open bar from 10 to 11, and a lot of other fun surprises, including a hot body contest and semi-naked people everywhere. Sunday! Local bands Surefire and Stylofone will be playing a FREE show at Pier 54 following the legendary 70's band America (fuck yeah!). The festival is part of a Men's Health Magazine event, and features tons of cool stuff. I helped organize the event, so you should come by and enjoy the bands and free stuff.

I've been having server problems lately, hence the lack of updates. Recently, i also lost 4 years worth of emails (must be the season), so if you happened to have sent me an email (to which i did not reply) before august of 2006, chances are i lost it.

Asobi Seksu has been on tour in the US, check them out when they come near you. You should also download the remix of Strawberries by Cassettes Won't Listen. They gave a nice dancy twist to the already very catchy song.

Surefire will be playing tomorrow night at CBGB's and again on sunday at Pier 54 (more details to come):
