Tonight, show off your dance moves downstairs at LOTUS for GBH's Loaded party - i'll be spinning from 1 to 4am, you just need to say 'Melody Nelson' at the door for complimentary admission. I have to say the downstairs there is way cooler than the big room upstairs, it's sort of like a hidden treasure. Come check it out.

Everyone's favorite belgian duo, Soulwax (also known as 2ManyDJs) will be releasing a new album on september 19th.

The months of july and august have been really busy for me in terms of DJ gigs, which is absolutely awesome. Tonight, eamon and i are taking a little vacation from CALLING ALL KIDS - we'll be back next week with fresh music.

Thursday night, GBH is celebrating their 8th year anniversary at Hiro. Though these guys started their promoting career in the house party genre (if you've ever wondered, GBH stands for Great British House), they've been putting together great rock-oriented nights in the past couple of years - and this one will be no exception. I'm not spinning but i highly recommend you stop by and celebrate.
