A quick post to say that i'm DJing TISWAS 2.0 at the Annex tonight. I'm downstairs from 12 to 4am to make everyone dance.
Tomorrow marks the end of an exciting month following the World Cup, and well, the excitement has reached its pinnacle with my team being in the final against Italy. So i hope the french boys win '98 style, but no matter what happens it will be a great game and a great day. Lots of people have asked me where to watch tomorrow at 2pm in new york... i'd say go to any french or italian bistro downtown, west or east side, everyone will be showing. Adidas is also throwing a big block party on spring st (in Nolita), showing the game on big screen and partying from 12 to 8pm.

Tonight, DC's Georgie James opens for Camera Obscura at Bowery Ballroom. I've never seen Georgie James live, but i absolutely love their demos. Georgie James is John Davis (formerly of Q and Not U) and Laura Burhenn. Go see them play while they're on tour, it should be a great show.
