I'm trying to catch up, it's been very hectic for me lately - however, after the next couple of weeks, blogging will be a lot more regular again.

Upcoming DJ gigs:
++ Tonight i will be at LOTUS downstairs for the newly relocated LOADED! I'll be starting the night at 10pm, and the fabulous Michael T. will take over around 1am. There will be drink specials and other goodies. You must be 21 to come. Lotus is located at 409 West 14th St. beween 9th & 10th Aves.

++ Tomorrow night, i'm back for my monthly stint at TISWAS 2.0 @ The Annex. After Ezra Reich's live performance upstairs, i'll be spinning downstairs from 12 until closing. The downstairs is so much fun, and i play a mix of all parties, rock, 60's french pop, new wave, britpop, you name it. Nick Marc and Phil will be upstairs. The Annex is at 152 Orchard St. between Stanton and Rivington St.

Exciting news and stuff:
++ I will be one of the guest DJs at the next MOTHERFUCKER party on monday july 3rd!! For those of you who don't know, MOFO is the biggest rock party in new york city, so i feel very very honoured to have been asked to be part of it. More details will be posted here soon.

++ CALLING ALL KIDS will be hosting the official RAKES after-party on wednesday july 5th (playing Bowery that night). The guys will also guest DJ. You'll know all the details as we get closer. I need to add that The Rakes' debut album is fantastic and so is their cover of Le Poinceonneur des Lilas on the Monsieur Gainsbourg Revisited tribute album.

++ Two months ago, the excellent local band DIE ROMANTIK and myself played a few Serge Gainsbourg covers together at Hiro Ballroom for my tribute party. We enjoyed rehearsing and playing them so much that we decided to record our favorite Serge song together, Elisa, just for our and your enjoyment! We recorded the song earlier this month. Paolo De Gregorio as well as the band produced the song. We're all really happy with the way it came out, i hope you all enjoy it.

++ Mobius Band is playing a free outdoor show tomorrrow afternoon (june 17th) at the east river amphitheatre. Great band, free show, don't miss it! Watch their latest video here.

The World Cup has been really great so far, except for France playing like shite on their first match... let's hope for a sweet game on sunday!
