L-D Section II
Lansing Dreiden is a band who hardy ever plays live. In fact when they do, it's not really the band itself, it's a band covering the band... i know i'm confused as well. If i'm correct, they've only played in the city two or three times and i've heard nothing but rave reviews of the shows, and unfortunately i've missed them all. Well, now is my (and your) chance to catch them live as they are planning to play a few shows, starting tonight, in support of their new album The Divided Island (out on may 9th). I really like the first single, take a listen:

long distance call
My friend Gaetan, who regularly DJs in paris at the Truskel and Pop In will be the Guest DJ tonight at CALLING ALL KIDS! He made fun of me once because while talking to him (in french) i called Delta 5, Delta Cinq (using the french number)! I think i've been living in the states too long, i forgot that in french we say U TWO, and not U DEUX, duh! Anyway, tonight should be a really good time, come on out!
Loads of great shows are coming our way. Don't miss TWO GALLANTS at the Bowery Ballroom this monday april 24th. I hear it's about to sell out, so get your tickets soon. I've seen them once, and they're a really great live band.

Two Gallants.
Most anticipated show of the spring is PHOENIX of course! Watch the video for their latest single, directed by Roman Coppola.
