in my arms

CALLING ALL KIDS is on again tonight!! I hope to see lots of you at Sapphire tonight so we can make the party as incredible as last week. If you're going to see Morningwood at the Bowery, come afterwards! Sapphire is on 249 Eldridge St. between Houston and Stanton St.

You must have heard of MYLO by now. I'm confused, i thought his record Destroy Rock&Roll came out in 2004, but i guess that was on import only. In any case, the album is now coming out in the US on february 7th, and honestly, even if you don't love dance/electronic music, you may really love this record especially if you're into Daft Punk and the like. Destroy Rock&Roll is essentially a pop album filled with samples and processed electro beats. Drop the pressure is possibly one of my favorite songs to spin at parties, and one that the crowd doesn't seem to get tired of. Check out this e-card to find out about tours and such. Oh, and let me not forget to mention that sharing a DJ bill with MYLO at Hiro last year was definitely a highlight for me and my young DJ career! He was quite incredible to watch.

Remember Bloc Party? On january 17, the band releases its first DVD, God Bless Bloc Party. It contains a one-hour documentary filmed around Bloc Party's second US tour and live performance footage from their june 2005 shows in LA and july 2005 at a festival in Belfort, France. resolution

This coming thursday, i'm part of this really cool gig where Benzos will be playing a live set, while The MisShapes, Karibomb and myself will be deejaying all night. The best part is that it's at Joe's Pub, one of my favorite venues! It will also be the afterparty for The 5 O'Clock Heroes show at the mercury lounge that night. We're calling this little one-off RESOLUTION!
